Thanks for checking us out – we hope you like what we’re all doing here.  There are a few things we reckon you should know about us, a few things that will help explain what we aim to do here at SwisticMing.

We want SwisticMing to be the most definitive listings site for London’s nocturnal life.  We want to present you with the information you’re looking for and do so in an interesting and useful way.

We’re not, as you may well have realised, a massive corporation; we’re a small team who are sick of all the mediocre stuff out there and we’re doing something about it.  We’ve lived in this city all our lives, so we know where to look, no matter what you’re after. 

Whether you want the grimiest, dirtiest, filthiest bass lines or a spoken-word poetry slam; whether you want get your best vintage threads on and boogie on down to some rockabilly, or a cheap and cheerful cheese night where you can groove to Chesney, we’ll do our best to sort you out.

We want you to get involved with my world@SwisticMing so you can get ranting & raving, tag listings, organise yourself with out & about, get nights recommended, and link up with your mates.

We’ve taken a lot of care and attention over the filters you can apply when searching our listings.  When you search our database your results will be exactly what you’re looking for, or at least, that’s what we’re aiming for.

This is NOT a dry listings site.  If you start off thinking that that’s all SwisticMing is you’re going to be very pleasantly surprised. 

We have packed the site full of quality content – content written by the SwisticMing community, i.e. you, us, your brother, your mum’s brother’s sister, some bloke called Ossie from Beckenham etc.

SwisticMing thrives on your content.  We want you to praise the last gig you went to, to slate the last random Swedish movie your boyfriend made you go see, to hype up an event that one of your mates is setting up.

Instead of spending your nights out wandering around places you don’t want to be, hoping to stumble across something decent, sort it out on SwisticMing.  We’ve spent hour upon hour putting the effort in so you don’t have to bother.  Now come along and enjoy the fruits of our labour.
