Poetry readings by Shanta Acharya, Carrie Etter and Annie Freud. Acharya is an internationally published poet, with five collections of poetry. A reviewer and literary critic, her article on the nature of poetry and the poetic process appears in the 50th anniversary issue of Agenda. Etter's first collection, 'The Tethers', complements her academic career. Her pamphlet, 'The Son', was the Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice for Winter 2009. Freud, an intermittent tapestry artist, embroiderer and poet, won the Glen Dimplex New Writers's Award in 2007 for her first collection, 'The Best Man Who Ever Was', which was also a Poetry Book Society Recommendation.
